چکیده
As an emerging flexible-scale energy storage technology, underwater compressed gas (UW-CGES) is regarded as a promising option for offshore platforms, renewable farms, islands, coastal cities, etc. Liquid accumulation often occurs in transmission pipelines, which challenge to overcome. In this study, experimental investigation carried out on the pressure distribution characteristics of liquid flow hilly terrain under condition Zero Net Flow. A slug model with different inclination angles at four times established and verified, its error range within ±20%. Analysis revealed that reduction growth difference are related outflow inclined pipe. high-speed camera used capture movement Flow (ZNLF) record associated dynamic parameters. By imaging motion detecting changes pipeline various times, fluctuation cause studied. Outcomes from work can be leveraged help further development technology.

Slugging Frequency Correlation for Inclined Gas-liquid Flow
In this work, new experimental data for slugging frequency in inclined gas-liquid flow are reported, and a new correlation is proposed. Scale experiments were carried out using a mixture of air and water in a 6 m long pipe. Two different pipe diameters were used, namely, 38 and 67 mm. The data were taken with capacitance type sensors at a data acquisition frequency of 200 Hz over an interval of...
متن کاملFlow Pattern Identification and Pressure Drop Calculation for Gas-Liquid Flow in a Horizontal Pipeline
Two phase gas-liquid flow pattern in a horizontal pipeline is predicted very accurately using a newly-developed analytical relation. The pattern identification is based on one of the most widely used graphs, the Baker diagram, modified in a way that compensates for the unrealistic oversimplifications of recent works. The Kern's method of pressure drop calculation is used to obtain the frict...
متن کاملA method for bubble volume measurement under constant flow conditions in gas–liquid two-phase flow
Measuring the volume of a bubble, especially at its detachment, is a basic subject in gas-liquid two-phase flow research. A new indirect method for this measurement under constant flow conditions is presented. An electronic device is designed and constructed based on laser beam intensity. This device calculates the frequency of the bubble formation by measuring the total time of the formation p...
متن کاملExperimental investigation and theoretical modeling of dehydriding process in high-pressure metal hydride hydrogen storage systems
This study explores the endothermic dehydriding (desorption) reaction that takes place in a high-pressure metal hydride (HPMH) hydrogen storage system when hydrogen gas is released to the fuel cell. The reaction is sustained by circulating warm fluid through a heat exchanger embedded in the HPMH powder. A systematic approach to modeling the dehydriding process is presented, which is validated a...
